thepicturehousegallery Posted by thepicturehousegallery at 08:33 PM on November 20, 2009 Comments comments (0)

On Sunday 29 November 2009 we will open our new exhibition of sculptures by local artist Dan Moor.

This exhibition will wind it's way through the entire gallery / bookshop, an installation that takes the viewer on a journey through time and space, meandering through the lower floor of the space, right up to the old projection room.

An exhibition not to be missed as it will coincide with Gunning's Lions Club Market Day - a great day out guaranteed.

So join us for drinks with the artist from 3 - 6pm.

For more information about this exhibition see our "Now Showing" page.

A Whole Lot Better!

thepicturehousegallery Posted by thepicturehousegallery at 08:02 PM on July 05, 2009 Comments comments (0)

We are in the midst of making some BIG changes here at The Picture House Gallery & Bookshop.

Most will have noticed locked doors and renovations and we appologize for the inconvenience.

Our Bookshop and Gallery will become one, everything under one roof, one entrance, a one stop shop of literature and art; a place to take your time looking and browsing with art to adorn the walls still for sale.

As soon as we're ready to open our doors again, the visitor will enjoy a feast of culture and the oppertunity to scramble up the stairs into the old projection room of the theatre, as we are expanding the bookshop & gallery into a two story haven.

So watch this space and thank you for your patience while we try to make things a whole lot better!
