Murray van der Veer has been at the forefront of photography and digital post-production for over a decade, and is now branching out into directing moving pictures.
He shoots fashion, cars, people, products, corporate… and really loves to create extraordinary portraits and landscapes.
Over the last few years Murray shot for Sydney Hilton, Kia, Nissan Diesel, Subaru, Lexus, Castrol, St George Bank, Vero, Asteron, Advanced Funds Management, Citibank, Colonial Bank, Visa, Events Fashion, SO, Caburys, Lindt, Han, BBC Motion Gallery, Macquarie Bank, Kingspan, CSR, RTA, NRMA, Toshiba, Samsung, Guinness, Foxtel, Buspak, Taubmans, AGL, Integral Energy, Astra Pharmaceutical, Department of Health and Ageing, Sydney Olympic Park Authority, The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, Play Station and more.
His work has been hung in the Citibank Portrait Prize 2005, 2006 and The National Portrait Prize 2007.
As well as being committed to developing his own skills, Murray mentors young photographers through teaching courses in portrait and landscape photography at The Australian Centre of Photography.
