A sculptural installation that takes the viewer on a journey through time and space by local artist Dan Moor.
Dan has spent most of his life taking something to pieces and then putting it back together again, perhaps not precisely as he found it.
Most of his sculptures have been made from found objects that have been discarded for one reason or another.
His recent work consists of reassembled rural artefacts. The Red Box timber used in his woodcarving has been in the ground as fence posts for a period of time that could be upwards of a hundred years.
Rescuing these from the fireplace has given Dan much pleasure over the last few years. Coupled with bits of rusty machinery and old fencing wire they form the majority of this exhibition.
